Prayer Group

The prayer group comes together each weekly to simply do that:  pray.  It doesn’t matter If you’ve never prayed or are a seasoned “prayer warrior,” you are welcome to join us!

We start by reading a Psalm or two and then speak out loud our adoration, confession, thanksgiving and requests to God in Jesus’ Name.

If you can’t participate, but have a prayer request, you can share them with Faith Rattei and she will include them each week.

Donuts With Dads

Dad memories are precious!  We want to help you create one — and strengthen your role as a man of God and father.  If you are an Early Childhood dad, plan to drop off your child that morning and join in. If your student is older, just stop by St. Peter’s on the way to school.  We will be in the cafeteria from 7:00-8:00am with some sprinkles and fresh coffee.  Bring your child and enjoy a donut together in the cafeteria while getting to know some other dads. The morning is hosted by the Men’s Missional Small Group who are extending an invitation to join us every Friday morning at this same time. There is absolutely no commitment, but we will have a brief video playing that shows the series we are going to be working through to encourage you.  This is a great way to bond with you child, meet some other dads and find out if the next study interests you!

Bibles, Burgers and Beer

Bibles, Burgers & Beer is a time to try new beer, tasty burgers and get to know new friends and God better!  We meet at the brewery at noon to sample their flavors.  Promptly at 1:00pm, we’ll start our bible discussion at the brewery.

Pick up a burger from Dark Horse (250 East 7th Street Lowertown, St. Paul MN) or The Bulldog (237 6th Street E, St. Paul MN 55101) just down the road and join us at Barrel Theory as we discover some new brews and discuss the impact of prayer on the life of Jeremiah and what that means for us today!

Each month, we’ll be discussing another person’s prayers recorded in the Old Testament (or “First” Testament)  We’ll be talking about whether we can be honest with God when we pray…and what the Old Testament shows us.  From the exuberant praise of Moses and Miriam to the desperate cries of Jeremiah, the First Testament is rich with heartfelt prayers to the Heavenly Father. What does that mean for us?  Let’s talk about it!

Operation: Christmas Child - Build-A-Box Workshop

We think the most wonderful time of the year is Operation: Christmas Child (OCC) season! To ensure that we are able to ship gift boxes full of God’s love to children all over the world, we need to start our work in September! Actually, our neighborhood children beat us to the punchthey’ve already raised $7.95 from cotton candy tips at our National Night Out to help cover the cost of shipping! What a great way to kick off OCC Season 2018!

Another great way is to join us on Sunday, September 23 after the worship service in The Commons where we will host a “Build-A-Box Workshop”where we will fold into shape all of the gift boxes to be used to carry Christmas gifts and the greatest Gift of all to children around the world! We hope to see you there!
