Eat chili. Christmas shop. Race cars. And after, have the best night’s sleep you’ll ever have, or at least your kids will. On Tuesday November 20th, join us for a night of thankfulness and family fun! Youth Impact Racing is hosting this special, annual event coined the “Thankfulness 250.” The night will begin at 6:15pm with a chili cook off in the St. Peter’s cafeteria where participants can try different chilis and vote for their favorite. At 7pm, dinner will be followed by a 250 lap race in the gym where kids, ages 6-16, can participate by racing remote control cars. Parents are invited to cheer on their racer and help count laps for one of the many racers participating. Don’t forget to knock out some of your Christmas shopping at this event, as new Youth Impact Racing apparel will be available!
*Ownership of a remote control car is not required for this event. Cars are provided for participating kids by St. Peter’s Edina.
The prayer group comes together each weekly to simply do that: pray. It doesn’t matter If you’ve never prayed or are a seasoned “prayer warrior,” you are welcome to join us!
We start by reading a Psalm or two and then speak out loud our adoration, confession, thanksgiving and requests to God in Jesus’ Name.
If you can’t participate, but have a prayer request, you can share them with Faith Rattei and she will include them each week.
Faith, Family, and Friends takes place every fourth Sunday of the month. Families with young children are given the opportunity to step out of the sanctuary and into the Underground Room to worship in a hands-on way that encourages faith learning and growth between parent and child.
This month we will learn that with Jesus death is not so scary because He gives us life forever!
Do you love art? Crafts? Dedicated time to work on them? Then join the "Arts Counterparts" group once a month as we work on our preferred art, get to know each other better and enjoy some snacks! We'll kick off with a short devotion as a discussion starter and then develop our craft.
For more information and location details, contact Faith Rattei.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone's welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.

At St. Peter's, we believe that leaders develop leaders...but sometimes it can be difficult to know exactly how to do that!
Join us for this workshop where we will discover what a "Leadership Path" is, how to create one and then have practical time to develop it.
If you lead any type of volunteer team at St. Peter's, then you'll want to build a path for them...and in doing so...build a path for future leaders!

Just a friendly reminder that there is NO Parent Connect in November. We don't know about you...but we're still recovering from Trunk -n- Treat!
However, be sure to mark your calendars for the "Happy Birthday Jesus" Party on Thursday, December 6!
We can't wait to celebrate Jesus' birth with you!
Looking for a safer alternative to "Trick or Treating?" Then join us for a complimentary dinner, crafts, face painting and "trick or treating" from classroom door to classroom door in our school!
The name "Trunk -n- Treat" originated from this event being hosted in a parking lot. However, as our students have grown YOUNGER, we find it safer to "trick or treat" indoors...it also keeps us from canceling due to weather!
The Baptism Information Session is a low key gathering with Student Ministries Director Laura Taranto and other parents to discover what baptism is, why it’s important and how we practice it in the St. Peter’s family.

We think the most wonderful time of the year is Operation: Christmas Child (OCC) season! To ensure that we are able to ship gift boxes full of God’s love to children all over the world, we need to start our work in September! Actually, our neighborhood children beat us to the punch…they’ve already raised $7.95 from cotton candy tips at our National Night Out to help cover the cost of shipping! What a great way to kick off OCC Season 2018!
Another great way is to join us on Sunday, September 23 after the worship service in The Commons where we will host a “Build-A-Box Workshop”where we will fold into shape all of the gift boxes to be used to carry Christmas gifts and the greatest Gift of all to children around the world! We hope to see you there!

Also, several of these breweries will have food trucks on site, so make sure to check their website for more information.
