Prayer Requests

This is a great time to be here!

Today is the day that Christianity is based upon. Christ sacrificed His life for you on Good Friday, and today He rose victorious over death and the grave. And you can too! We want you to discover the difference that can make for your right now.

Stop at the welcome center for a “Welcome Home” book with more details about St. Peter’s the hope we want to share with you. We’d love for you to call us your church home. If we can serve you in some way or you’d like to receive a weekly email complete the Digital Connect Card.

Red Letter Challenge

Today we will hear some of the words of Jesus that are often printed in red in Bibles. The St. Peter’s family has been taking part in the Red Letter Challenge. If you didn’t have an opportunity to finish the readings or are thinking of just starting, the words of Jesus recorded in the red letters are helpful any time - we encourage you to participate! Pick up a book at the welcome center at St. Peter’s. Resurrection Sunday is a great day to commit to learning more about our Savior - and this is a great tool to use.

The author of the challenge recorded a video for each of the weekly themes (click on each):

Giving

See what God will do in your life as you share with others. Invest in our community and our ministries that serve beyond our walls. Together we meet families at the intersection of faith and real life.

Now what?

Maybe seeing the Resurrection of our Savior has you ready for more. This is the time for you. We have created a tool on our website for you to discover your next step today. You can either explore ways to discover, connect, and engage or you can answer some brief questions for a guided process with suggestions of what to do next to grow in your faith as a follower of Jesus. You may also stop at the Next Steps wall just across the Commons as you leave the sanctuary.

Have you heard about The Chosen?

The Chosen is a Christian historical drama television series. It is the first multi-season series about the life and ministry of Jesus and the different people who met and followed or otherwise interacted with Him. If you want to experience Jesus in a whole new personable way, you will want to watch!

Even though season 4 has not been released to the public, churches have an opportunity to show it to our community. We have a small group that is ready for season 4, but many need to start at the beginning.

St. Peter’s is going to present season 1 on the big screen in our theater downstairs. We will view 2 episodes each night and will serve fresh popcorn and a light meal. Please complete the five question survey if you are interested so we can plan. We need your input on the best time for our first showing.

There will be no charge to watch but will ask that you share some food / drinks.

Oracles of God: The Story of the Old Testament

Jesus quotes the Old Testament Scriptures in His Red Letters. Go deep in discovering the origin and history of the Old Testament Scriptures. Join us as we embark on a mesmerizing exploration through time, tracing the footsteps of Moses, the Torah, and the Israelite kingdom. We will follow the drama of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Hebrew Bible’s genesis. The story will last several Sundays. We will not meet on Easter so you can celebrate the Resurrection.

Bring some treats down the elevator to the Underground Room for a full cinematic experience! We will start at 10:45am and wrap up at 11:30am.

Ready to Serve?

We are a small church - but we make a big impact when we serve together! Ready to put the Red Letters of Jesus into practice and serve? St. Peter’s ultimate goal is to meet families at the intersection of faith & real life. That means we need to go do “real life” with people outside of St. Peter’s. Find opportunities to SERVE in the community. Everything that happens at St. Peter’s happens because people just like you come together and make it happen! See VOLUNTEER opportunities to help others here.
