Prayer Requests

Voters’ Assembly

What’s been happening since COVID? Come learn about St. Peter’s with some updates in finances, ministry areas, and our vision for the future. The church is God’s people, not a building; it is a Church update about you! Sunday, February 26 at 10:30am in the sanctuary. All are welcome to attend. If you are a new member of St. Peter’s, sign the bylaws and you are eligible to be a voting member and set the direction of our congregation together with your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Sunday Pastor’s Bible Class

Join around the table with fellow worshipers to study the book of Ephesians together. Examine the context of Biblical Shalom in all areas of life. Discover the setting of the Bible readings that are shared in worship. See the big story of faith for your home and church. Be challenged to apply Biblical truth to your life. At 10:30am in the Discipleship Room to the right as you exit the sanctuary. Bring a cup of coffee and pick up a treat to enjoy on your way in. Life Application Bibles are provided for our study.

Sunday Fellowship

You are invited to join us for a cup of coffee and a treat following worship in the commons. It is a great time to meet others, get caught up, and try out your CURIOSITY skills! Would you like to supply treats for a Sunday? Sign up on the clipboard beside the coffee. St. Peter’s takes care of the Caribou, juice, water, and napkins. You simply bring treats to share. Be creative. Purchased or homemade - either is a blessing. If hospitality is not your gift, you can also make a donation with your offering for “Sunday treats”.

Professional Development Conference

The church office will be closed this week from Wednesday through Saturday as the church and school staff travel to a church conference for development and bonding. It is a gathering of Lutheran Church Missouri Synod congregations to encourage, grow, and be challenged and inspired for serving. We would appreciate your prayers while we travel.

Join our ECEC Team

We are thilled to welcome Jordan to our teaching team in the infant Little Lambs classroom. We are also looking for a summer aide (can be a student) to help us with 5 year-olds under the supervision of a licensed teacher. If you, or someone else you know and can recommend, are looking for a relationship-based school that is committed to your success, we invite you to St. Peter’s Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC)! We understand that our teachers are a vital influence on our community’s families, so we nurture our team to equip them to teach at their best. Our Christian-based center provides a quality landscape for a joyful, family-oriented early care and education environment.

Recorded Messages

The message from our services is posted on our website each week. These are professionally produced videos that include a song from our praise team. They are perfect for watching when you can’t be present, or listen to the messages when driving or exercising. Visit the StPetersEdina YouTube channel to see a collection of 100’s of messages, kids’ videos, and St. Peter’s music.

Welcome to St. Peter’s!

Today we extend a special welcome to all who are visiting this Sunday! If you are looking to grow in your faith in the New Year and have joined us on your own, we are thrilled to welcome you! Stop at the welcome center for a “Welcome Home” book with more details about St. Peter’s. We’d love for you to call us your church home.

Support for Mongolia

The Lutheran Heritage Foundation has been part of translating a children’s Bible storybook and the Small Catechism into Mongolian. Pastor Shockey’s parents were among the first missionaries in this country. Now, with our support, a small booklet, “Jesus Never Fails”, just translated, will be distributed to individuals needing to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Would you consider being part of this mission opportunity to help new Christians reach maturity? Mark your gifts “Mongolia”.
