Call to Worship
Pastor: Our lives are busy, filled with many things that compete for our attention. Jesus gives us the gift of His wonderful presence:
All: "Remain in me, as I also remain in you." (John 15:4)
Pastor: When we are worried and concerned by the overwhelming waves of life, Jesus brings comfort in the face of fear:
All: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." (Mark 6:50)
Pastor: Spending time with Jesus, we know He hears our prayers:
All: "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." (John 15:7)
Pastor: Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He assured us He will be with us:
All: "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." (John 14:26)

Scripture Reading
Mark 6:30-34 - The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught. Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. But many who saw them leaving recognized them and ran on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.
STP KIDS Dismissal
STP KIDS is the Children’s Ministry at St. Peter’s Edina, designed for all children from 6 months to 10 years old (Grade 5). Older children are welcome to participate as helpers. Our vision is to partner with parents in raising up a generation of children that will seek their God-given Kingdom mission and impact their world for Jesus!

The Lord’s Prayer
