Today’s word to live by: WASHED
Those in white robes. Who are they? Where did they come from? They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. We get dirty again and again but we are washed pure in the forgiveness of Christ.

Greeting
Call to Worship
Pastor: After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
People: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
Pastor: All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying:
People: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”

Scripture Reading
Revelation 7:13-17 - Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence ‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

STP Kids is the Children’s Ministry at St. Peter’s Edina, designed for all children from 6 months to 10 years old (Grade 5). Our vision is to partner with parents in raising up a generation of children that will seek their God-given Kingdom mission and impact their world for Jesus!

Prayer
Apostles Creed
People: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
The Lord’s Prayer
People: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Offerings
No matter how you give, it is changing lives! The giving methods are different than they were historically - in fact, they are somewhat easier! Every week you have an opportunity to worship the Lord and show that He is important through your gift. Offer a prayer and receive a smile knowing you are building the Kingdom of God. Thank you.

Prayer Requests
Week of May 15: Pray circles around our gifts and offerings. It is time to approve our ministry plan and budget. As we challenge one another in generosity, it is that we might effectively share the message of Christ’s grace with our neighbors. We see God sized possibilities and look to Him alone to sustain us. God will provide!
Jim, Tosca, Naomi, & Jamie are beginning a new journey in their faith life at the end of the month. They will be headed to Pensacola, Florida where Tosca will serve as Preschool Director. Read the announcement here. Please pray for their transition - we will have a farewell celebration following the worship service next week, May 22.

Pastor Led Sunday Bible Class
We had to add two tables - now there is room for you! Every Sunday you are invited to join with fellow worshipers to study the Sunday texts more in depth. Examine the context to see the setting of the story. Be challenged to apply Biblical truth to your life. At 10:30am in the Discipleship Room to the right as you exit the sanctuary. Bring a cup of coffee and pick up a treat to enjoy on your way in. Life Application Bibles are provided for your study. Get a deeper look at the Revelation of Jesus Christ during the month of May.

Todd, our ministry partner from St. Louis Park writes: “I just came from Bucha and Irpin, Ukraine where we delivered food and medicine from Poland. It was very sad, the bombing and destruction of many homes there. The Church where we stayed at, all the windows were blown out by the shrapnel from the house that was bombed across the street. We stayed warm as the Lord provided us with plug in heaters. AMEN! And several blocks away we dropped off food to the seminary where they are distributing it and helping the people in Irpin.”
