Today’s word to live by: FAITHFULNESS
Faithfulness is remaining true to what one believes, doing right under all circumstances, keeping on the right path even when there is every temptation to veer to one side or the other, and living out one’s faith in God by daily acts of faithfulness. You cannot live a faithful life on your own. The Holy Spirit empowers you to do so. May the Spirit work this faithfulness fruit on your tree of life.
Believe

Prayer of Faithfulness
Pastor: Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.
People: Lord, may I be faithful in every circumstance.
Pastor: Our Savior promised, “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
People: Increase my faithfulness, for it is a fruit of the Spirit and strengthens all those around me. Amen.

STP Kids Dismissal
STP Kids is the Children’s Ministry at St. Peter’s Edina, designed for all children from 6 months to 10 years old (Grade 5). Our vision is to partner with parents in raising up a generation of children that will seek their God-given Kingdom mission and impact their world for Jesus!

The Lord’s Prayer

Prayer Requests
May the Holy Spirit fill us with faithfulness so others see great and beautiful works in Jesus’ followers.
We give thanks for the life and faith of Elinor Untied - even all these years with failing vision. At her funeral, her legacy of faithfulness was clearly articulated by her grandchildren.
Our facility is a blessing and a responsibility. As we continue repairs and maintenance, may we be good stewards of what God has provided to serve our community. The projects seem endless, but God’s provision and faithfulness is all we need.
May our Lord provide protections to families who are traveling during the last weeks of summer before school begins.
Pray for the work of the Edina School District as they prepare for the coming school year and as we continue to explore partnerships with St. Peter’s & the schools to serve the needs of residents.

Pastor Led Sunday Bible Class
You are invited to join with fellow worshipers to study the Sunday texts more in depth. Examine the context to see the setting of the story. Be challenged to apply Biblical truth to your life. At 10:30am in the Discipleship Room to the right as you exit the sanctuary. Bring a cup of coffee and pick up a treat to enjoy on your way in.
