We are Thrilled You are Here!

If you are looking to grow in your faith, we are glad to welcome you! Stop at the welcome center for a “Welcome Home” book with more details about St. Peter’s. We’d love for you to call us your church home. If we can serve you in some way or you’d like to receive a weekly email complete the Digital Connect Card.

Red Letter Challenge

Do you have what it takes to follow Jesus? Red Letter Challenge is a 40-day discipleship challenge where you will be introduced, through the words of Jesus, to the five main principles of being a disciple. Be sure to pick up a book on the table at St. Peter’s. You will need it for the daily challenge. All the messages will also be posted online so you won’t miss any of the invitations.

This 40-day challenge examines Jesus’ words (the red letters), His habits, and His life, and presents them in a simple-to understand, but challenging way that will produce results in your life. The best way to follow Jesus is simply to follow Jesus - practically, and daily, living out our faith. Start reading Day 27 this week.

Challenge Groups!

Gather with others to be encouraged in the FIVE PRINCIPLES of Jesus' red letters: BEING, FORGIVING, SERVING, GIVING, GOING.  Discuss what you are discovering in Jesus' words with others.  Maybe you will be hearing some of Jesus' words for the first time - or you have read them over and over.  We need you!  There will be in person gatherings and a zoom gathering.  Please take the challenge with us.

Mite Box Giving Opportunity

In today’s message, we will hear the story about the woman who gave a small coin in comparison to the sizable gifts of other worshipers. Based on the Biblical account of the widow's mite (Luke 21:1–4), the Mite Box is intended for regular contributions of "mites" — offerings above and beyond the support given to congregations. Mite Box contributions amount to millions of dollars that fund LCMS district and national mission grants and implement the Lutheran Women in Mission program.

Oracles of God: The Story of the Old Testament

Jesus quotes the Old Testament Scriptures in His Red Letters. Go deep in discovering the origin and history of the Old Testament Scriptures. Join us as we embark on a mesmerizing exploration through time, tracing the footsteps of Moses, the Torah, and the Israelite kingdom. We will follow the drama of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Hebrew Bible’s genesis. The story will last several Sundays.

Bring some treats down the elevator to the Underground Room for a full cinematic experience! We will start at 10:40am and wrap up at 11:30am.

A Shrek Thank You!

The first performance of the Unlabeled Theatre Company was magnificent! We had a group of 10 ride together to the matinee show and other St. Peter’s families came to other performances.

Here is a note of appreciation from the executive director for all the St. Peter’s families who brought taco makings and Jill and the team who served last Sunday: I can’t say thanks enough for the amazing lunch today. It was a LONG day…9 am - 5 pm… it was SUCH a delicious break - everyone was so thankful for the sustenance. AND (not remotely surprising) every last cookie was consumed. Thank you for the love and the service today - we wouldn’t have made it without you! And we are all SO thankful for everyone and everything at St. Peter’s… Here we go! Looking forward to performing this amazing show with this fantastic cast and crew. With deep gratitude, Chris

Ready to Serve?

We are a small church - but we make a big impact when we serve together! Ready to put the Red Letters of Jesus into practice and serve? St. Peter’s ultimate goal is to meet families at the intersection of faith & real life. That means we need to go do “real life” with people outside of St. Peter’s. Find opportunities to serve in the community. Everything that happens at St. Peter’s happens because people just like you come together and make it happen! See volunteer opportunities to serve others here.

Emergency Contact Info

St. Peter's Family,

It is important that the church has contact information so that we would be able to contact a loved one should we not be able to reach you directly. Thank you for providing this information to enable us to serve your Spiritual needs.
