Prayer Requests

Sunday, December 18

Join us for an event for all ages! Enjoy a brunch together with your St. Peter’s family immediately following worship. We will have great conversation, Christmas activities, a story that shares our Christmas hope, and a jolly festive visitor! Sign up this morning to bring a dish to share: An egg bake? Fruit? Christmas treats? An opportunity to wear your Christmas outfit for a festive gathering and some pictures.

Christmas Services

Invite your friends and family to join you for Christmas Worship at St. Peter’s:

Christmas Eve Candlelight - 4:30pm

Christmas Day Communion - 9:30am

Advent Devotion Book

In this Advent worship series for families, we are reminded that Chrsit is with us. He enters into our homes to strengthen and support us, save and renew us. We are changed by His presence as we grow closer to one another. Be sure to pick up a copy of this year’s Advent Devotion Book: “Be Born in Us Today” at the welcome center or request a copy to be mailed at info@stpetersedina.org. The daily readings correspond to the Sunday worship themes and the Sunday Bible class discussions.

Pastor Led Bible Class

You are invited to join with fellow worshipers in the weekly WORDS OF FAITH Bible Study where we look at Scripture in more depth. Examine the context to see the setting of the story. Apply Biblical truth to your life. At 10:30am in the Discipleship Room to the right as you exit the sanctuary. Bring a cup of coffee and pick up a treat to enjoy on your way in.

St. Peter’s Survey Opportunity

St. Peter's is participating in a national study “Exploring the Pandemic Impact on Congregations” with the University of Minnesota and the Hartford Institute for Religion Research. This study explores the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on hundreds of Christian churches in the United States. It includes in-depth studies of how churches have engaged the challenges and opportunities presented by the Covid-19 pandemic and how churches continue to adapt and change. As part of this research, you are invited to take this survey. It should take about 12-15 minutes to complete. Your responses are anonymous and confidential. This is a valuable opportunity for St. Peter's attenders to share experiences and thoughts that will contribute to a better understanding of congregational life and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Paper copies are available at the Welcome Center.

Prayer Request Wall

Asking for prayer demonstrates a trust in the Lord to answer our prayer and a confidence that others walk beside us in our family of faith. Both are true! How may we pray for you? Use the prayer wall above to submit prayer requests.

  • click on the + Add prayer button above to request prayer.

  • Use the Watch button to receive email notifications for any requests on the wall.

  • Use the Submit a Private Prayer Request button to ask our St. Peter’s prayer team to anonymously pray for your need. (You may both post to the prayer wall & submit a prayer to the team).

Please allow us the honor to lift you up in prayer. “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.” 1 Timothy 2:1, NLT
