Greeting

Today, you are invited to experience the refreshment that comes from the restoration of strained or broken relationships through the healing power of forgiveness and results in harmony.

Confession

All: Keep cleansing me, God, and keep me from my secret, selfish sins; may they never rule over me! For only then will I be free from fault and remain innocent of rebellion. So may the words of my mouth, my meditation-thoughts, and every movement of my heart be always pure and pleasing, acceptable before your eyes, LORD, my only Redeemer, my Protector. (Psalm 19:13-14)

Pastor: Hear the words of Scripture: "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32) The pain and disappointments of life are all around us. People don't deserve to be forgiven by you, but then again, you don't deserve to be forgiven by God. Christ took God's anger upon Himself on the cross. And now you and I are forgiven and free to live in peace and harmony.

O Come to the Altar

Are you hurting and broken within
Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin
Jesus is calling
Have you come to the end of yourself
Do you thirst for a drink from the well
Jesus is calling

O come to the altar
The Father's arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood of Jesus Christ

Leave behind your regrets and mistakes
Come today there's no reason to wait
Jesus is calling
Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy
From the ashes a new life is born
Jesus is calling

O come to the altar
The Father's arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood

Oh what a Savior
Isn't he wonderful
Sing alleluia Christ is risen
Bow down before him
For he is Lord of all
Sing alleluia Christ is risen

O come to the altar
The Father's arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood of Jesus Christ
O come to the altar
The Father's arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood of Jesus Christ

Bear your cross as you wait for the crown
Tell the world of the treasure you've found

Scripture Reading

Ephesians 4:26, 30-32 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Praise My Soul The King of Heaven

Praise my soul the King of heaven
To His feet your tribute bring
Ransomed healed restored forgiven
Evermore His praises sing

Alleluia alleluia
Praise the everlasting King

Praise Him for His grace and favor
To His people in distress
Praise Him still the same as ever
Slow to chide and swift to bless

Alleluia alleluia
Glorious in His faithfulness

Father-like He tends and spares us
Well our feeble frame He knows
In His hand He gently bears us
Rescues us from all our foes

Alleluia alleluia
Widely yet His mercy flows

Angels help us to adore Him
You behold Him face to face
Sun and moon bow down before Him
All who dwell in time and space

Alleluia alleluia
Praise with us the God of grace

Prayer

The Lord’s Prayer

ALL: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Blessing

Colossians 3:14 - As God's chosen ones…put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Build My Life

Worthy of every song we could ever sing
Worthy of all the praise we could ever bring
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for You
Jesus the name above every other name
Jesus the only one who could ever save
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for You
We live for You

Holy there is no one like You
There is none beside You
Open up my eyes in wonder and show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me

Jesus the name above every other name
Jesus the only one who could ever save
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for You
We live for You

Holy there is no one like You
There is none beside You
Open up my eyes in wonder and show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me

I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken
I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken

Holy there is no one like You
There is none beside You
Open up my eyes in wonder and show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me
