He Gets Us - Anxiety
Was Jesus ever stressed? One night He experienced overwhelming stress because He knew He'd soon face arrest, torture, and even execution. It created an unimaginable weight. So, when we are facing worries and concerns, remember: He gets us!

Scripture Promise
1 Peter 5:7 - Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
Sparrows
The sparrow’s not worried about tomorrow
Or the troubles to come
The lily’s not thinking about the seasons
The drought or the flood
The tree that’s planted by the water
Isn’t fazed by the fire
So why should I be
'Cause You take good care of me
You take good care of me
You know what I need
Before I even ask a thing
And You hold me in Your hands
With a kindness that never ends
I’m carried in Your love
No matter what the future brings
You take good care of me
The sun’s not worried about the winter
‘Cause soon it will pass
The light’s not thinking about the darkness
Or the shadow it casts
A heart that’s planted in forgiveness
Doesn’t dwell in the past
So why should I be
'Cause You take good care of me
You take good care of me
You know what I need
Before I even ask a thing
And You hold me in Your hands
With a kindness that never ends
I’m carried in Your love
No matter what the future brings
You take good care of me
I know there must be more
But I can’t get past Your kindness
I know there’s got to be more
But I can’t get past Your goodness
I know there must be more
But I can’t get past Your kindness
I know there’s got to be more
But I can’t get past Your goodness
You take good care of me
You take good care of me
You know what I need
Before I even ask a thing
And You hold me in Your hands
With a kindness that never ends
I’m carried in Your love
No matter what the future brings
You take good care of me
Scripture Reading
Matthew 6:25 -33 - “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Message - Was Jesus Ever Stressed?
Luke 22:39-44 - Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him. On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.” He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
Was Jesus ever stressed?
Jesus was stressed for you.

Serenity Prayer
All: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Amen.
Prayer
If you are in need of prayer, we would love the opportunity to pray with you! You can post a prayer on our online prayer wall, or submit a private prayer to our prayer team.
The Lord’s Prayer
All: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
Blessing
Matthew 6:34 - Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
No Longer Slaves
You unravel me with a melody
You surround me with a song
Of deliverance from my enemies
Till all my fears are gone
I'm no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I'm no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
From my Mother's womb
You have chosen me
Love has called my name
I've been born again
Into Your family
Your blood flows through my veins
I'm no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I'm no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I'm no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I'm no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
You split the sea so I could walk right through it
My fears were drowned in perfect love
You rescued me so I could stand and sing
I am a child of God
You split the sea so I could walk right through it
My fears were drowned in perfect love
You rescued me so I could stand and sing
I am a child of God
I am a child of God
I am a child of God
I am a child of God
