He Gets Us - Loneliness
Is there a difference between being "alone" and being "lonely"? Loneliness can be felt even when a person is surrounded by other people. In either case, it can be intense and painful. Jesus knew how it felt to be surrounded by loving company. But like us, he knew how it felt to be abandoned without warning.

Encouragement From Scripture
Pastor: Above all else, the human heart cries out to know, "Am I loved?"
All: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

STP KIDS Dismissal
STP KIDS is the Children’s Ministry at St. Peter’s Edina, designed for all children from 6 months to 10 years old (Grade 5). Older children are welcome to participate as helpers. Our vision is to partner with parents in raising up a generation of children that will seek their God-given Kingdom mission and impact their world for Jesus!

Confession & Forgiveness
Pastor: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
All: But if we confess our sins, God, who is faithful and just, will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

All: Most merciful God, we confess that we are by nature sinful and unclean. We have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done and by what we have left undone. Pastor: In the mercy of almighty God, Jesus Christ was given to die for us, and for his sake God forgives us all our sins. To those who believe in Jesus Christ he gives the power to become the children of God and bestows on them the Holy Spirit. May the Lord, who has begun this good work in us, bring it to completion in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Communion
The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod holds the Biblical teaching that in Communion we receive the true body and blood of Jesus Christ with the bread and wine for the forgiveness of sins. If you are a baptized Christian who has been instructed in the Biblical teaching of the real presence of the Christ in this meal and grace through faith in Christ, and if you agree with our confession of faith, please join with the fellowship of disciples in Holy Communion.
“Everyone should examine themselves first, and then eat the bread and drink of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself.” (1 Corinthians 11:28-29)
The Lord’s Prayer
