Greeting and Announcements
Grandparents ooze love! There is nothing quite like the love and attention that a grandparent shares with their grandchildren. God gave them the task of delivering the Gospel to future generations. May the Lord use us all to share the faith with young and old alike.
Grandparents in Psalms
Psalm 103:17 - But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children.
Psalm 145:4 - One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.
Psalm 71 - Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.
Prayer for Grandparents
Lord, Thank you for our grandparents. Help us see them as special gifts of Your love and to honor them highly. Help them to show us Your will and to guide us along the right path. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Scripture Reading
Psalm 78:1-7 My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old— things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.
STP Kids Dismissal
STP Kids is the Children’s Ministry at St. Peter’s Edina, designed for all children from 6 months to 10 years old (Grade 5). Older children are welcome to participate as helpers. Our vision is to partner with parents in raising up a generation of children that will seek their God-given Kingdom mission and impact their world for Jesus!
