Greeting
One. One matters. One is valuable. One is worth waiting for. One is important enough to go back for. The reality is, you are the one... and Jesus never gives up on you!
Confession - Psalm 23
Pastor: Jesus said, “I am the Good Shepherd. I know my own and my own know me.” Jesus loves each one of us, guiding, protecting, and going after you. The words of Psalm 23 reassure us:
People: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures.
Pastor: Lord Jesus, our Good Shepherd, we are often unthankful for all You give us to sustain our bodies and lives. We long after things that are temporal and earthly, ignoring Your gifts and ignoring those around us in need. Forgive us, Good Shepherd.
People: He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Pastor: Like sheep we are distracted and wander away. We forget who we are as baptized children of God and fail to respond to Your shepherding in our lives. Forgive us, Good Shepherd.
People: Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Pastor: In the deepest, darkest times of life, we struggle to be confident in Your presence and protection. When we don't feel Your presence, we conclude that You are not with us and have abandoned us. We wander from Your powerful protection. Forgive us, Good Shepherd.
People: You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Pastor: When life is going great and we stand above those who oppose us, we gloat in our own intelligence and abilities forgetting the One who provides all the blessings in our lives. Forgive us, Good Shepherd.
People: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Pastor: As we walk through this broken world, we overlook the goodness and mercy that flows into our lives from You. We become short-sighted and locked up in the present, ignoring the hope and promise of a bright future in Your kingdom. Forgive us, Good Shepherd.
Forgiveness - John 10
John 10:11, 14-18 - "I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. . . . I know My own and My own know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father."

Scripture Reading
Luke 15:1-10 -Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.” So he told them this parable: “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek diligently until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Message: One
Luke 15:1-2 - Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”
Luke 15:3-4 - Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?
Luke 15:5-7 - And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
Isaiah 40:11 - He will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.
Luke 15:6 - “Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.”
Luke 15:8-10 - “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Luke 12:7 - “You are of more value than many sparrows.”
Reckless Love
Before I spoke a word You were singing over me
You have been so so good to me
Before I took a breath You breathed Your life in me
You have been so so kind to me
Oh the overwhelming never-ending
Reckless Love of God
Oh it chases me down fights 'til I'm found
Leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn't earn it I don't deserve it
Still You give Yourself away
Oh the overwhelming never-ending
Reckless Love of God
When I was Your foe still Your love fought for me
You have been so so good to me
When I felt no worth You paid it all for me
You have been so so kind to me
Oh the overwhelming never-ending
Reckless Love of God
Oh it chases me down fights 'til I'm found
Leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn't earn it I don't deserve it
Still You give Yourself away
Oh the overwhelming never-ending
Reckless Love of God
There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me
There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me
There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me
There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me
Oh the overwhelming never-ending
Reckless Love of God
Oh it chases me down fights 'til I'm found
Leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn't earn it I don't deserve it
Still You give Yourself away
Oh the overwhelming never-ending
Reckless Love of God
Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer
People: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
Blessing
Ezekiel 34:11–12 - I, I myself will search for my sheep and will seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered
Fierce
Before I call
Before I ever cry
You answer me
From where the thunder hides
I can't outrun
This heart I'm tethered to
With every step
I collide with You
Like a tidal wave
Crashing over me
Rushing in to meet me here
Your love is fierce
Like a hurricane
That I can't escape
Tearing through the atmosphere
Your love is fierce
You cannot fail
The only thing I've found
Is through it all
You never let me down
You don't hold back
Relentless in pursuit
At every turn
I come face to face with You
Like a tidal wave
Crashing over me
Rushing in to meet me here
Your love is fierce
Like a hurricane
That I can't escape
Tearing through the atmosphere
Your love is fierce
You chase me down
You seek me out
How could I be lost when
You have called me found
You chase me down
You seek me out
How could I be lost when
You have called me found
You chase me down
You seek me out
How could I be lost when
You have called me found
Like a tidal wave
Crashing over me
Rushing in to meet me here
Your love is fierce
Like a hurricane
That I can't escape
Tearing through the atmosphere
His love is fierce
Your love is fierce
Your love is fierce
Your love is fierce
His love is fierce
